JOB SITE:
A. Pre-inspection by an experienced, qualified roofing expert.
B. Apply for and obtain building and ARB permits in accordance with local codes.
C. Install lightweight, removable debris trailer with rubber tires to protect driveway.
D. Cover decks, shrubs and yard for appropriate protection.
E. Post acquired building and ARB permits in visible location.
ROOF PREPARATION:
A. Remove old ridge caps, shingles, starters, felt and roofing nails by sections.
B. Inspect deck for rotten or deteriorated wood and replace as necessary.
C. Re-nail and secure any loose existing plywood on roof.
D. Inspect and replace all damaged metal flashings.
ROOFING SYSTEM:
A. Thoroughly clean roof deck to provide smooth nailing surface.
B. Install premium grade roof deck protection underlayment.
C. Install self-adhering leak barrier waterproof membrane in low-slope areas, valleys,
ro crickets, around plumbing exhausts, skylights and chimneys.
D. Install 30 year to lifetime rated algae resistant laminated shingles, ARB approved.
E. Fasteners will be non-corrosive and will be installed to meet hurricane codes.
F. Install new Miami-Dade approved pipe flashings.
G. Install upgrade factory manufactured starter shingles at all roof edges for extra leak
rooprotection.
H. Install new skylight top diverter flashings to avoid potential leaks.
I. Install new slant back exhaust vents.
J. Install factory hip and ridge cap shingles.
K. Install heavy duty baffled ridge vents.
L. Install metal drip edge to entire roof perimeter.
CLEAN-UP:
A. Provide continuous job-site clean up.
B. Magnetically sweep job-site for any loose nails or metal objects.
C. Clean out any existing gutters.
D. Pick up and haul away all job-related debris to an approved disposal facility.
DEPOSITS AND WARRANTIES:
A. A deposit of 50% is required upon signing contract.
B. The deposit is required before posting of permits, delivery of materials and starting job.
C. Scheduling of work to revolve around homeowner’s request or ASAP.
D. Factory premium shingle warranty is 30 years to lifetime.
E. Workmanship warranty is 1-10 years by Premier Roofing.
F. Extended factory 20 years to lifetime 100% warranty, material and labor including
ro components.
G. All warranties are transferable.
FINAL:
A. Inspect the job with homeowner for complete satisfaction of roofing system.
B. Present detailed invoice and receive final payment.
C. Manufacturers’ warranty will arrive within 30 days of roof completion.
